Sleep early for Terry Fox Run

Saturday, November 3rd, 2007

Tonite, my parents asked me to sleep early so that we can wake up early for Tery Fox Run tomorrow.  Before going to bed, my parents make me promise to walk the whole route and not to make them carry me like what happened during last year’s event

We have to leave house by 7:30AM to be at Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden by 8:00AM. My dad said finding parking is the biggest problem. So, we have to leave early.  Breakfast will be at the starting point and we will eat whatever the organizer is providing.

No cartoons or computer games tonite. Good Night everyone.

Down to Earth again

All the excitement of parties and presents are over. Mum told me that I have to wait for another year before I can celebrate my brithday. Well, I don’t really understand what is one year. She told me one year has 12 months. Still I cannot comprehend this. Then she said, it’s 365 days. Now I understand but it’s a long way to go before I can celebrate my birthday again.

Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka

I can see Malaysia flags everywhere. On the lamp posts, newspapers, television programs and in the shopping malls.

Another boring day

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

Today is still a school holiday. My parents have gone to work. They bought me a few new DVDs to accompany me during this school break. They bought Happy Feet, Surf and Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of Rainbow. I am staying with my aunt during the day.

My dad has promised to come back from work early to bring me go shopping. He promised to bring me to Smaland at Ikano Power Center. But, I have to promise him that I will finish my homework given by my Montessori school teacher.

I overheard my dad telling my mum that they were planning to bring me to a water theme park this Friday. They will not go to work on that day. I just can’t wait for that day to come.

In the evening, my dad returned from work early and we had early dinner. My mum, dad and I went to Ikano Power Center and they dropped me at Smaland. I met a few new friends and played with them until my mum and dad came to pick me up again.

Then, they brought me to The Curve for New Zealand ice cream.
