Meeting the teacher

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

My mum and dad decided to send me to Montessori school so that they can find out more from the teacher what went wrong during the English Spelling test. The teacher gave a very long and lengthy explanation to my parents. Then, they left.

During the class, my teacher told me that the next day is a public holiday and I do not have to come to school. She showed us a flag and told us it is the Malaysia flag. Tomorrow is Merdeka day.

English spelling test disaster

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

I have prepared well for the English spelling test. I am confident of getting the star. But, the English spelling test turned into a disaster. The teacher used a different set of words for the test. The set she used was meant for next week - September 5th. I only managed to get 2 out of 5 words right.

I am disappointed and I told my dad and mum about it. They were so angry. My dad said he will see the teacher tomorrow to find out what went wrong in the English spelling test.

Black Monday

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Monday is the day I have to stay back for my additional Chinese class. I will have additional homework to do. My dad and mum cannot help me with my Chinese homework but my uncle and cousin are helping me with it.

Evening will be preparing for my English spelling test on Wednesday. Either mum or dad will go through with me. Sometimes, my aunt will also go through it with me. I only need to learn five words to prepare for the spelling test. I like doing well in my spelling test and the teacher will give me a star each time I get all the five words correct.

Scholl going to start again :(

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Sunday started with my mum reminding me that tomorrow Montessori school will start again. I will be back to school. Meeting my friends and doing homework. I like playing with friends in school but not the homework.

My mum sorted out my schoolbooks and put them back into my school bag. She just wanted to make sure that I have completed all my homework for the holiday. I have completed the mathematics, English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese homework earlier.

I made a Cinderella’s carriage with two horses

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

Saturday will always start with the usual activities. First, it’s the Ballet class and follows by music class. Then, it is lunchtime. After that, it depends on my mum and dad’s generosity if they want to bring me elsewhere to spend time together. Else, its back home to play computer games or playing board games with my dad

Today, my dad decided to bring me Art Attack that I am not interested in going. I have been going to this place for the past one and a half years. Dad told me that I needed to attend a few more sessions to complete what he has paid before I can stop going to Art Attack. I agreed.

At Art Attack, I chose to build a Cinderella’s carriage with two horses on it. I am always fascinated with Cinderella’s and her fairy godmother. I always wish they can come and turn me into a princess. I spend two hours making the Cinderella’s carriage. After the session was over, my dad came to pick me up. I showed him my creation and he complimented me for my handiwork.

Family outing at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

Friday, August 24th, 2007

Today is the day!!! My mum and dad are bringing me to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park together with my cousin and grandpa. But, my dad forgot to bring his camera. He must be getting old as he is so forgetful. This is my first trip to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and he forgot about his camera.

I cannot join many rides because I am too young. The Pirate Revenge 360 degree ride requires me to be 4’ 6” and I am only 3’ 6”. I still need to eat a lot to grow up to be that tall. My dad told me I have to eat more rice, fish, chicken, vegetable, prawns, fishballs and noodles to grow taller. He always tells me that. Just eat more of everything.

All of us went for the rides in the Wild Wild West section. I enjoyed the Buffalo Bill Coaster, Apache Pots, wagon wheel, the vulture, carnival walk and played some games at the arcade. I also saw the two huge tigers from very close. I can see their sharp teeth which are so scary.

From Wild Wild West, we went to “Waters of Africa”. We just played in the water. My dad rented a huge tube and was trying to persuade me to ride on it. Initially I was afraid and later, he just picked me up and put me on the tube with my mum. Actually, I liked it very much.

He brought us to the ‘Zimbezi River’ and we were drifting along the ‘river’ until we reached the ‘Victoria Fall’. My dad deliberately pulled our tube and moved it under the ‘fall’. He made us all very wet. After one round, I asked for another. When we reached the ‘Victoria Fall’, he made us wet again. He was so bad.

When it was time for dinner, we left the place. I looked darker and less pretty now. Mum told me it’s because I swan under the hot sun.

Another boring day

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

Today is still a school holiday. My parents have gone to work. They bought me a few new DVDs to accompany me during this school break. They bought Happy Feet, Surf and Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of Rainbow. I am staying with my aunt during the day.

My dad has promised to come back from work early to bring me go shopping. He promised to bring me to Smaland at Ikano Power Center. But, I have to promise him that I will finish my homework given by my Montessori school teacher.

I overheard my dad telling my mum that they were planning to bring me to a water theme park this Friday. They will not go to work on that day. I just can’t wait for that day to come.

In the evening, my dad returned from work early and we had early dinner. My mum, dad and I went to Ikano Power Center and they dropped me at Smaland. I met a few new friends and played with them until my mum and dad came to pick me up again.

Then, they brought me to The Curve for New Zealand ice cream.

My Pink Room

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

Yesterday, when I returned home in the evening with my mum and dad, they told me they had a surprise for me. I asked them what’s the surprise was about but they wouldn’t tell me until we reached home.

When we entered the house, my dad asked me to close my eyes tightly. They made me promise that I would not try to peep. Then, they led me upstairs. When we reached upstairs, instead of turning left to my mum’s and dad’s room, we turned right and walked straight. I knew we were walking into a room which they have been telling me that it was going to be my room.

When we entered the room, I could hear my dad switch on the light. Then, he said ‘Open you eyes’. I was so surprised that the room fully furnished bed room set of my favorite pink color. I have a pink bed, a pink table, a pink chair, a pink cabinet and a pink side table. Everything is PINK, PINK and PINK.

They asked if I liked the room and I just hugged and kissed my mum and dad. I was simply so happy.

Then, they asked if I want to sleep in my own room. I just said ‘Yes. I want to sleep in my room.’ Last night, my mum accompanied me sleeping in my own room for the first time.

I will try to get dad to take pictures of my room and post it here.
